Tuen Mun Baptist Church was founded in 1996. Its parent church is Kowloon Mandarin Baptist Church. The church was established in 1999. In 2000, it joined the Hong Kong Baptist Union as a member church and the Hong Kong Chinese Christian Association as an affiliated member church. It has a history of more than 20 years. The number of congregants has grown from 13 at the beginning to more than 300 people today.

On April 21, 1996, we started our first worship service at Chi Lok Garden, Tuen Mun. The church area could only accommodate more than 60 people, and we had to divide it into two worship halls later. Due to the continuous increase in the number of people, we moved to Tuen Mun Park Lane Plaza in 2000. At that time, the number of worshippers exceeded 100. Until 2013, the number of worshippers exceeded 300, and the gathering was divided into three halls. God's grace continued to be bestowed on us. In February 2013, God allowed us to be promoted again and moved to the entire ninth floor of Fu Yi Commercial Building, covering an area of about 5,000 square feet. Thank God, the church keeps moving forward. In September 2017, we moved to the current location on the ground floor of Rose Garden Shopping Mall, with greater development.

With the grace of God, we have established three churches, namely Wing Yan Church, Chong Yan Church and Wah Yan Church, located in Kwun Tong, Mong Kok and Tin Shui Wai respectively. Chong Yan Church established a church in 2007 and continues to shine for the Lord. In line with the spirit of Christ and the philosophy of Baptist schools, our association undertook a kindergarten in Tin Shui Wai in 2007, named "Baptist Wah Yan Kindergarten", to educate the next generation with the love of Christ and provide a quality Christian kindergarten for the children in the area.

In 2003, God gave us a vision to apply to the government for land to build a temple. Thankfully, in God’s arrangement, the Hong Kong government reserved land TMTL488 for us and we are now awaiting approval.

In the past 20 years, we have followed the Lord's great commission and worked hard to spread the gospel. We have spared no effort in caring for the society and serving the people. The cell group is the core of our pastoral care and the key to the development of the association.

Our vision is to "win Tuen Mun for the Lord and move towards a church that glorifies God". We are a church that "lives by the Holy Spirit and walks by the Holy Spirit". Based on the teachings of the Bible, we hope to build a church that can glorify God and win Tuen Mun for the Lord.
